Meet the woman behind the delusion
Hi, I'm Bec. Mindset and identity specialist, lifelong dreamer and the very real woman behind this slightly delusional world.
The funny thing is, Delulu didn't start as a business idea. It started when my life fell apart. I'd just left my job to build a completely different life when, within weeks, my partner walked out. Suddenly the future I thought I was creating disappeared with him.
No success story yet. No evidence leaving my job would work out. No idea what my life would look like. Just a broken heart and a blank page.
So every night, I started writing. Except I stopped writing about the reality I was living, and started writing about the one I wanted instead. The woman I wanted to become. The places I wanted to go. The love, the money, the freedom, the business, the kind of ordinary Tuesday I wanted to wake up and realise was somehow my actual life.
There was absolutely no evidence for most of it. But for those few minutes every night, I stopped letting what was happening around me decide what I was allowed to believe could happen next. I rewrote my reality before there was any evidence it was going to work out.
And that was where my Delulu Diary began
Not because everything I wrote magically appeared, but because somewhere between those pages, I started changing. What I believed was possible. What I expected. What I noticed. What I was willing to choose. What I stopped settling for. And eventually, the reality around me started changing too.
That little nightly practice became Delulu Diaries. Then came Project Delulu. And now, welcome to Delulu World. A place I created for the moments when your current reality gives you absolutely no reason to believe in the one you want, and you decide to believe in it anyway.
Because sometimes a new life begins with nothing more than a blank page, a ridiculous idea and enough delusion to write a different ending.
